Prayer Meetings
These are both times of prayer and fellowship.
- Saturday morning men’s prayer meeting, twice a month.
- Friday evening prayer meeting, twice a month.
- Tuesday late afternoon weekly Drouin Prayer meeting.
- Weekly Ladies Intercessory Prayer Group.
Home Fellowships
We have at present two such weekly meetings, which operate differently, to meet the needs of those who come. They incorporate Bible teaching, worship, prayer and fellowship, with refreshments! The number and nature of our home groups is open to change as need or people’s interest leads.
Spontaneous Gatherings
At present we have a few of these, including a card-making group which meets weekly.
Combined Church Involvement
We participate in the Ficifolia Festival, Easter Sunday and Carols by Candlelight Combined Services, as well as conducting Combined Services ourselves, as part of the ‘Church Which Is In Drouin’. We have hosted a National Day Of Prayer And Fasting in recent years, and played a leading role in the local World Day of Prayer Services. We participate in the Baw Baw Food Relief Program, and in the provision of the Amberlea Aged Care Centre Church Services.
Other Activities
We conduct a short Christmas Day Service, and have a December Christmas Luncheon. We run a monthly Saturday Sausage Sizzle to raise funds for charity. Every fifth Saturday in the month we have a Men’s Breakfast.
